Kia ora Year 13 Students,
We are looking for mainstream students who could support our CE students’ active engagement during academic classes, leisure activities and mealtimes.
Te Pukenga Conductive Education is looking for enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking Year 13 students who would be happy to volunteer their time once or twice weekly to support our differently abled students in their learning.
Volunteering at Te Pukenga Conductive Education provides a great opportunity to gain experience and confidence for those who are planning to work in the educational or medical field. In particular, students planning to study nursing, medicine, teaching, speech language therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, care-giving, community support work, social work etc. would benefit.
At the end of this year, depending on the students’ attendance and performance record we will be able to provide a letter acknowledging their un-paid contribution to the Cashmere High School community.
For more information please contact Juliet Webber, Te Pukenga Conductive Education Lead Teacher (firstname.lastname@example.org).
